Course Objectives The course aims to develop the communication abilities necessary to carry out all on board duties and to manage passenger requests in any operative context.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • The students who succeeded in this course will be able to;
  • communicate effectively in spoken English on issues and ideas with pre-intermediate level of fluency and accuracy in routine and non-routine situations from pre-flight briefings to cabin services,
  • recognize plain English in Aviation context,
  • use correct and appropriate grammar structures by selecting relevant information and using stylistically and socially appropriate discourse patterns and vocabulary in Aviation context,
  • identify incidents about their occupation in English.
Course Description This course focuses on communicating effectively in spoken English in routine and non-routine situations from pre-flight briefings to cabin services and recognizing plain English and using appropriate discourse patterns and vocabulary in aviation context.
